Indulgent festive cocktails don’t need alcohol to be worthy of a celebration. American Malt brings the flavour of vanilla and toasted nuts with herbal notes. Father Christmas approved!
Glass:
Cocktail coupette
Ingredients
- 50 ml Lyre's American Malt
- 20 ml Clove syrup
- 40 ml Cranberry juice
- 25 ml Lemon juice
- Egg white or alternative foamer
- Garnish: Brûlée and Cranberry
For the clove syrup:
Get a pan filled with 250mL of water and 250mL of white sugar. Add 125mL of cloves. Heat on low/mid for 15 mins. Strain out solids after the syrup has cooled down.
Instructions

Dry shake all the ingredients briefly.
2.
Add ice, shake hard and fine strain into a chilled glass.
3.
Feeling adventurous? Top with brûlée using sugar, a kitchen blow torch and bar spoon (Put spoon into a mug of cold water after to make cleaning easy).
4.
Serve.
