Interesting, but not a perfect mimic
4I like this and find it quite drinkable, but in terms of how closely it resembles proper alcoholic amaretto the relationship is cousins, not sisters.

So good in apple juice
4It was lighter and fruiter than I thought it’d be - less syrupy than amaretto - but not in a bad way and the slight spice aftertaste helps replicate the burn of alcohol. We’ve tried a few mixers with it, decided in the end the best way to serve it is with apple juice or in a hot chocolate. I think it’d be really good drizzled on cake too.

A solid alternative that allowed
3A solid alternative that allowed me to enjoy a festive favourite whilst pregnant. I noticed that if drinking neat/on ice, there was a strange tingling left in the mouth - similar cooling sensation as peppermint.
