Originally created by Sam Ross in the mid-2000s in NYC, this modern classic has taken the world by storm. The warming and soothing flavours of honey, citrus, ginger, smoke, and Lyre's American Malt make for the perfect tipple for any chilly cold night. It's tart, it's spicy, and it's bloody delicious.
Glass:
Old fashioned
Ingredients
- 60 ml Lyre's American Malt
- 15 ml honey and ginger syrup (recipe below)
- 10 ml lemon juice
- 30 ml strong smoky tea (Lapsang souchong or Russian Caravan tea)
- Garnish: ginger cube on skewer
Instructions
1.
Shake briefly with ice.
2.
Strain over a large ice cube.
3.
Serve.
