Flavour Profile
Lyre's American Malt: Generous flavours of vanilla and toasted nuts with herbal notes providing a complexity, offset by a long mellow finish. The gently spiced palate results in the flavours remaining well after finishing.
Lyre's Amaretti: Almond on the palate and tangy with spice to keep the nutty and candied vanilla flavours to a delicious medium-sweet. Sugar levels are beautifully balanced by the slight bitterness that almonds naturally have. The finish is long and generous.
Lyre's Dark Cane Spirit: Full-flavoured with notes of caramel, fudge, fig, and toasted nuts enhanced by a long finish featuring maple and vanilla. Seductive and elegant.

Multi Use
I purchased this set for a 'tasting' among sober folk. Pleasantly surprised with everything. The American Spirit was tastier than the equivalent Spiritless 74, and we loved our 'dark and stormies' with the rum. Sleeper is the Amaretto. I can see multi use, morning coffee to flavoring cakes and desserts.

Awesome. Just So Awesome.
I am such an advocate for Lyre's now, these guys are outstanding. I made my partner an Old Fashioned which really relies on the whiskey (or whiskey alternative ;D) and he was really impressed; we both were! They're super fun to mix with or have straight. I do think they are different to work with compared to regular spirits when mixing, but this adds to the fun of getting to know the product! I love it! Looking forward to the mixology class!! Thanks Lyre's! SO GOOD!

As a mixer, it’s a very quality substitute. On its own it seems rather watered down but I have no idea how I’d improve it so it leads me to believe it’s as good as it can get. Super fun to bring to parties and to share with friends.

Best used as mixer
They have good flavor for addition to cocktails, but not for solo serves imo. I think ya'll are on to something though. Keep working on those flavor profiles!

10\10 recommend them all
I was really shocked how amazing it all tasted. The American malt Still had the hint of oak and that bourbon/whisky taste with no burn. Amaretti has that base of almond flavor .. so good even by itself on the rocks. The dark cane is such a good replacement for rum . Definitely recommend trying a sip from each without anything to really get the full Flavor notes and then pair with your fav mixers.
