Flavour Profile
Lyre's American Malt: Generous flavours of vanilla and toasted nuts with herbal notes provide complexity, offset by a long, mellow finish. The gently spiced palate results in the flavours remaining well after finishing.
Lyre's Amaretti: Rich almond, vanilla, marzipan, peach, caramel and accents of maraschino. Sugar levels are beautifully balanced by the slight bitterness that almonds naturally have. The finish is long and generous.
Lyre's Italian Spritz: The bittersweet flavour of the Italian Spritz is like sunshine itself, bright with flavours typical of its origins. A rich and unique mix of aromas, including rhubarb bitter orange, lifted with herbal edges and soft bitterness to create balance. Classic orange-red in colour.
- Do not leave bottle open or replace cap with pourer.
- Always reseal with original cap after opening.
- Once open, best refrigerated for optimum freshness
- Recommended to be consumed within 12 weeks of opening

A nice set of flavours
All three of these are really nice tipples. I just like to mix them with tonic water as it gives them a nice bitter flavour with a nod to the alcoholic originals. The “whisky” has a lovely burnt caramel flavour to it, and the Amaretti is delicious on its own with ice. I like the Italian spritz mixed with tonic as well.

Tasty alternatives
Enjoyed mixing up a few cocktails and Irish coffee. Nice treat on the weekends. Would love to see more no added sugar offerings.

Disappointed
The best of the three is the Ameritti; but not impressed with the other two. Probably need to book the mixology tutorial.

The best order ever!
The Amareto is the best drink I have ever tried and is actually better than the one with alcohol!. I can't believe it has such low levels of sugar as it is very sweet and very almond tasting. The Malt is a sure fire replicate of Jim Beam. I didn't know there was a difference and the Orange Spritz is very yummy on it's own or with a fizzy addition

Gorgeous bottles and branding set my expectations high
The presentation of Lyre’s is so beautiful and the branding is gorgeous. The scent of each spirit is perfect and the amaretti and the spritz are really close to the authentic spirit - very good mixers I enjoyed with lots of cocktails. I would have given it 5 stars but the whiskey took it down to a 3. It smells gorgeous, but tastes absolutely nothing like whiskey and is quite hard to drink unless incredibly diluted. Every drink I have made with it. I have abandoned half way through. So, individually, amaretti and spritz get 5 stars for imitation of real alcohol taste but American malt would get about a 2. Also, Lyre’s specialism is trying to craft that taste - other non alcoholic spirits on the market have other specialisms such as adding botanicals for a buzz or feeling, which I think because these lack, the experience of drinking them was quite nonchalant.

First order
Like the Amore tri- the American whiskey didn’t have sufficient body for a ‘Manhattan’ or ‘old fashioned’. Too watery. I like the Italian spritz . I guess 2 out of 3 is ok!
