Passable substitute!
4The smokiness and sweetness of bourbon are there, for sure!

Disappointing
3It’s ok if mixed with whisky in a long drink, diluting the alcohol content for a low alcohol drink. For me as a total substitute for whisky it just tastes like liquid sugar even when mixed.

Best when mixed
4Not enough bourbon like to drink straight. Makes an ok old fashioned but works best in cocktail with mixer. I like it in a whiskey sour, happy with the product.

Worth trying
4On my second bottle during Dry January. Not the real thing and not a substitute for bourbon but still a pleasant drink in its own right. Will definitely continue to drink even when 'back to normal'.

Serviceable brown spirit
4The American Malt is not as amazing as its 'fellow' non-alcoholic spirits but head and shoulders above any other 'brown' spirit distilled by competitors. I'm almost out so that speaks for itself!

5Very impressed,,,,,,I have since ordered a 3 pack which should arrive today...The Rum, Malt, and Amaretto Pkg,,,,I mixed with seltzer water and miixed with coffee and granulated brown sugar and tried it straight to get the true taste,,,
