More Tennessee than Kentucky
5This stuff is damn outstanding. I would say it edges closer to Tennessee whiskey rather than Kentucky bourbon in sour taste, the smell is immediately recognizable and familiar, the first taste is again, very whiskey though less burn. The finish goes through the nose with a light tease of a burn. I like it in an old Fashioned without ice.

5I drink mine as a long drink, a triple shot topped with Coke Zero. Perfect during Dry January and love the taste. I will continue with this during 2022 and onwards - possibly my favourite Lyre’s product!

Not quite what I expected.
4Sorry but I am not an enthusiast. Tried it with tonic as it is my preferred way to drink something like this.

5I am very impressed with the flavor. We have used it to make old fashioned s, mix the egg nog and baked Kentucky pies. I will definitely continue to purchase Lyre’s American Malt.

The American Malt has a
3The American Malt has a very thin mouth feel. I had to increase the proportion of the Malt in order to bring out its flavor. Wouldn’t recommend it straight up over ice, but will have to experiment some more with mixers.
