Color Me Suprised
4If you're expecting this to replicate the taste when neat or on the rocks, trust me it won't. It seriously taste like a heavily watered down whiskey. But as a bourbon coke, ho boy, we got ourselves a party. It's so surprising to me at least, as a simple mixer with coke that it would bring out so much character out of this American Malt. The initial smell, the mouthfeel, taste and even right down to the aftertaste 'burn'. I don't know if it's the spices working their magic or just something else. Definitely recommend as a mixer. Could it be absolutely be smashing as a cocktail? I don't know. But definitely not straight up.

5Bought for my husband as he is unable to drink alcohol anymore for health reasons and this hit the spot for a nice evening drink over ice on our Zoom get togethers with friends during lockdown. Makes a decent Old Fashioned! just missing the burn.

Mixed with coke to make
5Mixed with coke to make a Sham Jack and Coke, this is a guilt-free alternative that doesn't feel like a poor relation. I recommend it to anyone who wants to cut down on alcohol but thinks they'll miss the taste.

Couldn't tell the difference
5Was for my husband but did not tell him it was alcohol free. He really liked it. When he had finished the bottle I told him had to show him the bottle to convince him. Son has since ordered him a full size bottle for his birthday
