I have found several of the Lyre spirits to be particularly good and this is amongst the best and one of my three favourites. It works well as a scotch and soda pre-prandial. In addition to having some 'body' and structure to it, it also has the advantage of being low in calories.

Obviously not as good as the real thing. But having said that I drank it without mixers and it was ok. The smell was very realistic and it did have a slight kick too but the texture let it down more than anything. If you’re trying alternatives to alcohol then it’s worth giving it a go. I didn’t mix it and it’s possible it would have been even better if that’s your thing. Delivery etc was good
