4We are looking for a substitute for whiskey. We found this the best we have found so far. I am looking forward to trying the Highland Malt as I expect it to be even better suited to the British pallet. Do you know when it might be available in the UK? Rgds Barrie Pountain

Love the whiskey it’s great
5Love the whiskey it’s great my father suffered a bleed and his brain and has left him with dementia the whiskey works a treat he can still have a drink without the alcohol everyone in the care home loves it all the managers think it’s a great way to help keep him in his routine

As a LONGTIME bourbon drinker
5As a LONGTIME bourbon drinker wanting an AF alternative, could not have been happier with this product by Lyres :) American Malt has a definite bourbon flavour - just don’t start pouring quads to start with - get used to the flavour first lol ;) Also is AMAZING with the Lyres Coffee liqueur - tastes JUST LIKE Black Russians when combined :) Awesome products that make you feel like you also have something yum to drink when all your mates are OTP!!!

Pretty decent whiskey substitute
5It does a decent job of simulating the taste of whiskey, even when enjoyed by itself on the rocks. Of course, it can't simulate ALL of the taste of whiskey, and it drinks a little thin and watery, but as far as sober alternatives go, this is a good choice.

5Has the notes of alcohol, it lacks the bite. The best way to describe it is a watered down drink. For my grandpa who has cancer and hasn’t been able to have a drink in 5 years it put a big smile on his face!

5I find this is extremely good on ice alone. I have just purchased some more Lyres products which will enable me to make up some cocktails with the American Malt. A great non-alcoholic product.
