Cranberry juice and sage simple syrup make it festive, while the combination of Lyre's Dry London Spirit and Lyre's Apéritif Rosso make it a true sweet martini.
Glass:
- Martini Glass
Ingredients:
- 45mL Lyre's Dry London Spirit
- 30mL Lyre's Apéritif Rosso
- 70mL cranberry juice
- 30mL sage simple syrup (see below)
- Garnish: cranberries and sage
To make sage simple syrup:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 8-10 sage leaves
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Once dissolved, add the fresh sage leaves. Steep for 10-15 minutes over low heat. Cool. When room temperature, strain to remove sage leaves. Transfer to a bottle or jar. Store in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Instructions:
- Shake ingredients with ice until chilled.
- Strain.
- Garnish.
- Serve.
