Mojito, si Grande! While Ernest Hemingway was penning Old Man and the Sea in one corner of La Bodeguita Bar in Havana, a fellow visionary was creating the Mojito on the other side. Lyre's White Cane Spirit, muddled mint, and hints of sugar cane, a true mojito should be stirred using the bill of a giant marlin and enjoyed with a Montecristo rolled by Blackbeard himself.
Glass:
1 litre carafe
Ingredients
- 180 ml Lyre's White Cane Spirit
- 60 ml lime juice
- 45 ml white sugar syrup (1:1)
- 2 large handful mint leaves
- 4 lime wheels
- Premium bottled soda water
- Garnish: lemon wheel, and 2 plump mint sprigs
Instructions
1.
Add ingredients to the carafe.
2.
Fill with ice and stir.
3.
Serve.
