This is a concoction for those who like things a little sour, but always with a cherry on top. Take a bourbon, add some lemon, bitters and egg white and you, my friend, have a delightful drink packed with flavour!

Glass:

Old fashioned

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Lyre's American Malt
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml white sugar syrup (1:1)
  • 15 ml egg white / aquafaba (chickpea juice) or 4 drops foaming agent
  • 2 dashes of aromatic bitters
  • Garnish: orange wedge, maraschino cherry

Instructions

1.

Dry shake all the ingredients briefly.

2.

Add ice, shake hard and strain into glass over fresh ice.

3.

Serve.
