While Ernest Hemingway was penning Old Man and the Sea in one corner of La Bodeguita Bar in Havana, a fellow visionary was creating the Mojito on the other side. Lyre's White Cane Spirit, muddled mint and hints of sugar cane, a true mojito should be stirred using the bill of a giant marlin and enjoyed with a Montecristo rolled by Blackbeard himself.

Glass:

Highball

Ingredients

  • 75 ml Lyre's White Cane Spirit
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml white sugar syrup (1:1)
  • 8-10 mint leaves 3
  • 0 ml premium bottled soda water
  • Garnish: lime wheel, plump mint sprig

Instructions

1.

Add all ingredients in glass.

2.

Stir and fill with fresh cubed ice.

3.

Serve.
