4Doesn’t quite have the depth of flavour of a good quality spirit but without a doubt a great and enjoyable substitute I’ll be buying again.

Delicious tasting
5I have been happily surprised by the flavors delivered by Lyre's products, I could really create a delicious drink to my wife without the alcohol. Of course it misses the kick of the alcohol which makes the drink to go down faster and it will need a bit adjustment of watering down but the flavors are all there

Pretty good
4Tried making a Sazerac with the Lyre's. It was a bit watery, but the flavor was spot on. Since then, I generally mix the Lyre's with kombucha to get the bite it lacks without any alcohol.

This was a good combination
5This was a good combination to start with. I have been curious about these “non-alcoholic spirits” for a while. I liked the Lyre’s Manhattan - Tastes like a grown-up drink without the alcohol.

Manhattan Set Only Way These Substitutes Work
3So, I tried the bottles separately, both are thin and weak. I mixed them together and the result is similarly thin and weak. But ... when mixed with a little tonic water and a mixture of bitters to fill in flavor gaps then Luxardo cherries you get 'close enough.' And 'close enough' is just that. Its not $78 worth. It's a nice try ... but, please try again. You can do better.

5I really like it. I like the combo combined with soda. I did with a strawberry Bubbly and it is a great combo.

Love the Aperitif, American Malt not so much
3I thought the Aperitif was a great approximation of sweet vermouth. I could see using it in a real Manhattan to reduce the alcohol content. Unfortunately the American Malt fell short for me. I wish it had a deeper flavor, it tastes watered down. I know you're going for low calorie, but I feel that some brown sugar/molasses sweetness was sorely needed. There is also bitter back note uncharacteristic of bourbon that I did not care for. It was better than some I've tasted, however, and could for some be a reasonable whiskey replacement.
