Characteristics of Bourbon
5This version of a bourbon substitute is the best I have tried. Unlike many non-alcoholic spirits, I find Lyre’s products to actually have the character of the real spirit it is replacing. I have ordered these products multiple times, and have turned many friends onto them as well.

Excellent attempt to replicate good
4Excellent attempt to replicate good bourbon. I found that it watered down too quickly, so I put it in the freezer to avoid ice cubes. About one-half became ice. I used some of the unfrozen liquid and noticed an improvement strength and taste. Oddly enough, after the remainder thawed, the improvement was still evident. I will buy it again. In fact, I would like to have a couple bottles shipped as soon as possible as I am going on vacation next week. Thanks! Page Ayres

Lyre’s Bourbon
3Decent flavor and complexity but tastes somewhat medicinal and watery. It tastes ok over ice or a few drops of water. A dash of bitters helps.

Almost Perfect
4The flavor is amazing. But to be honest, after trying ritual 0 proof whiskey, I really wish the lyres lineup had tried to emulate a little more of the warmth/kick of the drink. If this was a little toastier I would've given it a 5. But the flavor, as good and complex as it is, still doesn't do enough to make your drink feel like something totally different, which I think ritual whiskey and tequila are good examples of. Im thinking about mixing this with ritual to get those bourbon flavor notes with more whiskey kick. Maybe lyres should make a little tonic or something sold separately to add to drinks to give some spice and impact
