A bad liver brought me
4A bad liver brought me to Lyres. It’s definitely 5 star but I gave it a 4 as I miss the variety of bourbons I used to enjoy. I definitely like the taste and keep it stocked.

Very tasty mixed with soda
4Very tasty mixed with soda water over ice, and for a low alcohol cocktail it’s delicious with Dubonnet (1:1) and a dash of bitters. Certainly not going to fool anyone into thinking that it’s actual whiskey, as it’s missing the more viscous mouthfeel of an alcoholic spirit. But I think it’s flavorful and interesting, a good zero-proof addition to our home bar.

Good mixer for mocktails
4Goes well with the Ameretti to make a Godfather mocktail I use two thirds Malt to one third Ameretti

Warming and satisfied a flavor
5Warming and satisfied a flavor so longed for after I cut alcohol from my diet. Don’t try them side by side. But starving myself of alcohol and then trying this left me delighted. Mixed into hot cider, or shaken into some sweet pineapple, it was pretty brilliant and deeply appreciated :pray::skin-tone-3::sparkling_heart: well done.
