Perfect :ok_hand:
5Purchased for an elderly aunt who is in a care home and no longer allowed alcohol for medical reasons but has always enjoyed a whisky every evening. She has not been able to tell the difference ...... we are very pleased as she really looks forward to her tipple every night

Undecided but leaning towards very good
4I’m still not sure where I stand with this American Malt. It works surprisingly well when used as a cocktail base. I made a Manhattan (very good), and an Old Fashion (good). It’s okay on its own. Sort of like whiskey when all the ice has melted. If you like your whiskey neat and strong you’ll likely find this a little too light and watery. But the flavors are complex and interesting. I think it might be the kind of thing that grows on you over time. However, the cost seems just a little high for what you get. I want another bottle but I’m not sure I want it enough to pay again. Yet, I haven’t found a better substitute. So, I’m torn. Ultimately I’m grateful to have this as an option.

Good Attempt
4I like my drinks strong. The American Malt caught my eye to bring in the taste of bourbon. Though it is very pleasant and has a hint of meeting my level of satisfactory taste it misses that bite I look for. Will I buy again? Maybe. However I will continue to search for the stronger kick I’m seeking. It is a good attempt to match the pallet.

5For 50 of my 75 years , I traveled the Bourbon Trail . I am very happy to add lyres American Malt as my final Member of my Bourbon Friends. My advice to young and old is From my 60 years of Playing Hockey. “Old Puck ‘s play harder when you keep your head up” Fire and ice under control. New York’ only licensed “old Puck”.

Great whiskey taste
5My favourite of all the Lyre’s spirits. It will not fool anyone neat but still a good substitute. Great base with a good mixer. Not tried it neat yet but I have finished the bottle. I will get this one again.

American Malt Review
3I was very excited about this product because I love whiskey but am looking for non alcoholic options. It was a little sweeter than I was expecting - maple forward - which was a little different for me since I gravitate towards ryes which are usually a little spicier. It did also taste a little watered down. I would love to try something that was a little less sweet and had a little more bite. But in general very excited that this is an option for non alcoholic nights! Love the label designs though, and bottle shape.

Not Bad
3It’s definitely not the worst whiskey alternative I’ve tried. In fact I really like it mixed in soda. I wouldn’t call it impossibly crafted but it’s one of the better options. The burn was very slight but gave off the impression I was looking for. The taste was a little watery but again it’s not really meant to be consumed neat. For the price it’s a bit expensive but I would possibly consider buying it again.
