Wouldn’t drink it neat or on the rocks, but GREAT with soda!
4I think it’s a really great alternative when you want a grown-up drink. It’s really excellent with soda. Not so awesome on its own, but that’s to be expected. Will definitely buy again.

5The flavors are excellent and superior to a competing brand. It has less of a burn than a competitor as well. That may or may not be your preference, but certainly the flavors are top notch.

I was really looking forward
3I was really looking forward to trying this as I haven't had a drink for 2 years due to medication. I really missed the taste and burn. This smells lovely, although it tastes great there is a watery finish. Like 3 parts water to 1 part malt..

Best when matched 1:1 with spirit
3While it has similar characteristics to proof whiskey, it definitely lacks the weight and bite. Another brand’s no-alcohol, no calorie tequila replacement has managed to get the bite right and I will continue buying that. Lyre’s malt works well if it’s matched 1:1 with a spirit in a cocktail (e.g., 1oz rye + 1oz Lyre’s + 1oz sweet vermouth for a Manhattan). That provides a lower ABV cocktail while retaining much of the desired structure and taste.
