I love the American Malt - I mix it with dry ginger ale. It tastes authentic and has the burn you want in a whiskey. I didn't make a Manhattan, but am using the Aperitif Rossi as a mixer, with tonic water. I cannot speak highly enough of these products and have just received my 'gin' in the post - that will have to wait until tonight.
