High hopes but it’s not quite lived up to its name
3It’s got a nice flavour to it, but I find that it’s quite overwhelmingly watery. I had really high hopes but it’s not quite hit the mark. I expected it to be fiery and flavourful but it’s a bit bland and really quite watery.

Best AF Bourbon for Cocktails
5It's a good substitute for a mid-grade Bourbon. It smells malty, but the taste is a bit watery up front. It's pleasing to the mid-palate and the bite at the end is a bit on the side of black pepper. Neat or over ice it's good, but it pops in a Manhattan, or other other whiskey based cocktail. My favorite way to mix it is equal parts of American Malt, Lyre's Aperitif Rosso, and a splash of Blood Orange Bitters over ice. It's a simple mix, but very good. I gave it five stars because it's great in cocktails over ice.

5American Malt, White Cane Spirit, Dark Cane Spirit, Coffee - all lovely. For someone who doesn't drink alcohol - Lyre's is such a treat.

It’s alright.
4The scent is there. But for me personally the mouth feel was a little weak and the orange flavor was kinda over powering. It tasted more like an old fashioned pre mix.
