Straight over ice
5Love this drink! As an ex-whisky lover who has divorced alcohol.. I simply love this! It is indeed a spirit.. with malty smokey bourbon notes that linger. I drink it straight on ice.

Really Good
5It's not a sipping whiskey but mixed with club soda, it gives you that familiar taste and smell. If they could recreate that 'bite' (it's a tiny bit flat), it very well could be a sipping whiskey.

Tasty and a good ingredient
4Tasty and a good ingredient for a cocktail. The after-feel is definitely reminiscent of a sip of bourbon. Not quite as deep flavor as I had hoped for as a stand alone drink.

Fun for mixing
3If you're looking for a whiskey substitute you can sip neat, you're going to be disappointed. It's a solid mixer though. It's got an interesting smell and a mildly sweet taste that works well in citrus based mixed drinks. Despite their recommendation, I did not like it in an Old Fashioned.

5must be some chili in this as it has a slight burn like you would get from alcohol. (well a little bit). I had it on the rocks. happy with it
